This week Chrysler have unveiled an industry first in the form of their new in-vehicle wireless charging system. Making it even easier to charge your smartphones and mobile devices while on the road. The wireless charging system works using an integrated power bin, measuring 8.27 x 9.5 x 3.25 inches.
Into which you place your smartphone or device requiring charging. Once the power bin recognises a battery-powered smartphone or similar it will start to charge the device once the vehicle is started. Pietro Gorlier, President and CEO of Mopar, Chrysler Group LLC’s service, parts and customer-care brand explains:

The Chrysler in-vehicle wireless charging system is priced at $199.99 plus installation (part number 82213216), as well as being available in the 2013 Dodge Dart, that will be arriving in the second quarter of 2012.
