Some code has been discovered in the current iOS which shows a couple of new Apple devices that are currently being tested out. One of them seems to related to a CDMA iPhone which could relate to the Verizon iPhone we have been hearing about, whilst the other seems to been for a new iPad, the iPad 2.
The code for the devices bypasses the iTunes activation, and this usually happens when Apple is testing a device.
So we could very well see a CDMA iPhone for Verizon in January like we had previously heard. We are not sure about the iPad 2 as the current model has only been out a few months, so we could have quite a while to wait before we hear anything about a new iPad.
Apple has now announced the iPad 3, have a look at our iPad 3 vs iPad 2 specifications compared guide for information on Apple’s new iPad.
