After a not so great attempt at raising money over on Indiegogo the team behind the Boddie smartwatch have now taken to Kickstarter to raise the $100,000 the business requires to take their smartwatch concept into production.
It’s not the first time that a crowd funding campaign has failed and then been re-launched. The recent phenomenal success of the Coolest cooler box only happened after the project had been relaunched over on the Kickstarter website, and then went on to raise over $10 million in funding breaking a number of Kickstarter records with it along the way.
It will be interesting to see whether the team behind the Boddie smartwatch will be able to turn this campaign into a success and follow in its footsteps. The creators of the Boddie smartwatch explain :
“Boddie is a smartwatch that will not only help you in your everyday life, but that also will bring the balance back to your life. Boddie is a smartwatch suitable for your everyday needs. As the most personal assistant ever, it will enable you to get your latest social media and message notifications, as well as answer or reject phone calls.
Whenever you feel like training, Boddie will track the number of, steps you take and calories you burn. And should you need to give that very important presentation at work, Boddie will help you to command it with nothing more than a simple wave of your hand.”
As explained the Boddie smartwatch project is currently over on the Kickstarter crowd funding website, so if you think Boddie is something you would wear and use visit the Kickstarter website via the link below to make a pledge from $99 to be one of the first to own one.
