A new style of iPhone dock has arrived on the Kickstarter website called the Bloombox, which uses a natural acoustic amplifying design for audio and also include a space for a planter.
The Bloombox is constructed using a hollow square frame design, that allows audio from the iPhone to be amplified naturally without the need for additional electronics or power, and also brings a little life to your office desk or anywhere you might like to recharge your iPhone or iPod. Watch the video after the jump to learn more about the Bloombox project and see it in action.
The Bloombox iOS speaker dock creators Nicholas Hyde and Brennan Conroy explain: “We are raising the money to help create a mother mold to be able to manufacture multiple Bloomboxes. We are working closely with Mudshark Studios in Portland, Oregon to make the ceramic molds and manufacture the Bloomboxes. They are a well-known ceramic manufacturing company that have already helped with a variety of Kickstarter projects. “
The Bloombox project is currently over on the Kickstarter website looking to raise enough pledges to make the jump from concept to production. So if you think Bloombox is something you could benefit from, visit the Kickstarter website now to make a pledge and help Bloombox become a reality.
