Last month BlackBerry announced that they would be updating their BlackBerry PlayBook to their new BlackBerry 10 OS, they have now released a software update for the device, unfortunately it isn’t the BlackBerry 10 one.
The new software update for the BlackBerry PlayBook is versions 2.1.0.1526 and it brings the BlackBerry World branding to the PlayBook as well as SMS chats through BlackBerry Bridge.
As yet we do not have any information on when BlackBerry will release the BlackBerry 10 software update for their PlayBook tablet, all we know is that it will be available some time this year.
