We first heard about the new Beats Music subscription service back in January, and now the company’s CEO, Ian Rogers has given a launch date for this new music service, it will launch in January 2014.
As yet we do not have any specific details on how the Beats Music service will work, although it is thought to be similar to Spotify and other music streaming services.
If you’ve spent any time around me in the past six months you’ve surely seen me buried in my phone making playlists, poking, prodding, and testing our forthcoming service, Beats Music. Sincere thanks to those who have been testing the private Alpha-turned-Beta along with me. We’re nearly ready for liftoff. Thanks to your diligent testing and feedback we are locked and loaded, ready to launch here in the US in January, 2014.
You can now register a username for the Beats Music service over at Beats Music, ahead of the new music service launch in January, and it looks like it will be available in the US at launch.
As yet we do not have any details on whether the Beats Music service will launch outside of the US, as soon as we get some more information, we will let you guys know.Filed Under: Technology News, Top News
