Ever wondered how life is like as a creator of Google Doodle? Well, if you’ve got the skill for it, as well as “sense of humor, love of all things historical, and imaginative artistry,” then you can be the next “Doodler.”
One of the world’s largest tech companies, Google is currently hiring a Doodler based in Mountain View, CA. A Doodler basically designs homepage doodles within the limits of Google’s logo, while managing collaborative projects on the side in a very fast-paced work environment. Minimum qualifications for a Doodler is a degree in Fine Arts and 4 years of relevant experience.
Notable doodles in the past were the classic Pac-Man, hopscotch homage to Martin Luther King, Jr., Freddie Mercury’s Doodle music video, Charlie Chaplin’s short film, and guitarist Les Paul’s interactive string Doodle, among many others.
