Excellent communication is a very important part of this whole campaign. It is my responsibility to keep our backers up to date on all developments. There is always going to be campaign risk involved but I believe I have done my due diligence. I want to alleviate any potential concerns our backers might have, and I’ll start by being transparent with monetary allocation:
All of the developmental costs have been funded. We are partnering with a local manufacturer and we have a quote for tooling at $57,480. My salary will be $1,600 a month which is just enough to pay for rent, food, and utilities. The rest will cover raw materials, labor, logistics, and crowdfund fees. The funding goal is set at our break even point letting you know we have adopted strict financial controls. Furthermore, we must disclose that if the need arises we may improve the features of BASE7 relative to the product currently displayed. Our target ship date is going to be July 2017.
