Asus have today announced that their new Asus VivoTab will be launching in the UK next week as the Asus VivoTab ME400, and is equipped with a 10.1-inch LED-backlit IPS display, featuring a resolution of 1366 x 768 HD, with 5-point multi-touch support
The Asus VivoTab ME400 is powered by a Intel® Atom Z2760 dual-core processor, running Microsoft’s latest Windows 8 operating system.
The VivoTab ME400 is fitted with a battyer that is capable of providing up to 9.5 hours of use, and the tablet comes fitted with a 8 megapixel rear camera with auto-focus, five-element lens and 1080p Full HD video recording, together with a front 2 megapixel camera designed for face-to-face video chat.
The new Asus VivoTab ME400 comes in ceramic white, diamond blue and poppy red, and is available as of the 31st January 2013 for £399, and will be available from Argos and the CarPhone Warehouse. Other accessories include an optional TranSleeve Keyboard for £90 and a cover priced at £40.
