Device manufacturer Archos have unveiled a new addition to their range today in the form of the new Archos ChefPad, which as the name suggests has been designed for use in kitchens.
The Archos ChefPad is fitted with a 9.7 inch capacitive touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, and is powered by a 1.6 GHz ARM Cortex-A9 dual core processor.
The Archos ChefPad’s processor is supported by Mali 400 MP4 graphics, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of onboard storage, all running Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.
Other features of the ChefPad include 2 megapixel front facing camera for video calling, together with a 2 megapixel rear facing for video and photographs. The ChefPad measures 9.5″ x 7.4″ x 0.4″ and weighs roughly 1.5 lbs and is expected to retail for around €170 or $220 when it launched in June.
