It has been revealed that Archos is preparing to launch a new addition to their range of tablets in the newer future that will be powered by a Rockchip RK3188 ARM Cortex-A9 quad-core processor with Mali-400 graphics.
The new Archos 80b Platinum tablet will be fitted with a 8 inch IPS display offering wide viewing angles and a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels to ether with 8GB of internal storage together with a microSD card slot for extra storage.
The Rockchip RK3188 ARM Cortex-A9 quad-core processor of the Archos 80b Platinum tablet will be supported by 1GB of RAM, and connectivity provided by 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth.
Other features include a 0.3 megapixel front facing camera for video calling, together with a 2 megapixel rear facing for video and photographs. Together with a HDMI output and Google’s latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
The new Archos 80b Platinum tablet is now available to pre-order for $200.
