Archos has this week added a new addition to their range of Android tablets, in the form of the new Archos 80 Xenon 3G Tablet, however final hardware specifications for the tablet are still a little up in the air at the moment.
The new Archos 80 Xenon 3G tablet is currently listed on two different websites Amazon.de and pc21.fr showing different specifications for its processor.
The German Amazon site says a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, while the French site lists a dual core processor running at 1.2 GHz supported by 1GB of RAM with 4GB of onboard storage provided with a microSD available for further expansion. As soon as the official specifications are confirmed by Archos we will let you know.
The new Archos 80 Xenon comes supplied running Google’s latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, and could be priced at either €220 for the quad core model or €160 dual core model.
