Apple will announce iOS 5 later today at their World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC), and we are expecting major changes to Apple’s mobile OS, with a range of new features and functions added to iOS 5.
It looks like the guys over at MacRumors have spotted one of the new features that will be added to iOS 5, automatic Over The Air (OTA) updates for apps, and it seems it won’t just be apps that the function will be available for.
So we could possibly see iOS updates being pushed out to iOS devices Over The Air, instead of having to connect your iOS device to iTunes, this is something that many iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users will welcome, and a function that has been available on Android devices for some time.
