Yesterday we heard about a new bug in Apple’s iOS that would crash your iPhone when a specific character from the Indian language Telugu is sent to the handset. The iOS bug happening to devices that are running Apple’s iOS 11.2.5.
Apple is currently working on iOS 11.3 but we will not have to wait until them for them to release a fix for this bug. The company has confirmed that they are working on a fix for the messaging bug and that it will be released before the iOS 11.3 software update.
As this is a serious bug that is causing iPhones to crash, we suspect that Apple will be releasing the update sooner than later. We wouldn’t be surprised to see the update land either some time this week or early next week.
As soon as we get some more details on exactly when Apple will be releasing the new software update to fix this new messaging iOS bug, we will let you guys know.
