According to a recent report, Apple will be offering carrier financing on new iPhone purchases in their retail stores from the 20th of August.
The details were discovered by 9 to 5 Mac, who have learned that Apple will allow carrier financing in their retail stores from the 20th of August with AT&T, Verizon Wireless and T-Mobile.
The photo above is apparently an internal slide used for training in Apple stores, and it confirms that the iPhone will be available with AT&T Next, Verizon Edge and T-Mobile’s Jump carrier financing plans.
It is not clear as yet on which models of the iPhone will be available on carrier financing in Apple’s retail stores, although we presume this would include the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C when the feature is added later this month.
We suspect that Apple will also make the carrier financing available on their new iPhone 6, the handset us rumored to launch in September, with a possible launch date of the 19th of September, as soon as we get some more details we will let you guys know.
