Apple is expected to announce its sixth generation iPhone next month, the iPhone 5, and this has lead a number of retailers to cut the price of the existing iPhone 4S.
Earlier this week we heard that Sprint had dropped the price of the iPhone 4S to $149.99, and now it looks like Apple is going to price match the device in their retail stores.
The guys over at MacRumors have discovered that Apple will be offering the iPhone 4S for the same price on Sprint, as you can see in the photo above, with prices starting at $149.99 on a Sprint contract.
Price matching is not something Apple normally does, this will apparently only be available through Apple’s retail stores and not their online stores.
