According to Barclays analysts, Apple is rumored to introduce three new iPads next year at an event expected to take place in March.
Two of them are reported to be the refreshed versions of the iPad Pro featuring 9.7 and 12.9-inch display size, while the third of them is expected to be a whole new category with a bezel-less display of 10.9-inch.
The new category is expected to carry the same footprints as the 9.7-inch iPad, but with a new screen size. Furthermore, the report continues to mentioned that the new 12.9-inch iPad will feature a new True Tone display, which was introduced with the 9.7-inch iPad Pro.
As for the 9.7-inch iPad Pro, the report suggest that its going to drop the “Pro” tag as its going to join the iPad Mini in the low-cost iPad line up, and will feature entry level specifications. As for the new 10.9-inch iPad, it’s expected to come with an edge-to-edge AMOLED screen.
Last but not the least, the rumor has it that Apple may not refresh the iPad Mini next year, which is long due for an upgrade. We’ve seen some rumors about it’s refreshed model, but it seems that’s not going to happen for now.
We’ll update you if we hear anything more.
