Last week we heard that Samsung had offered Apple some sort of deal on the patent lawsuit between Apple and Samsung in Australia, which is to do with Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet.
It looks like Apple has decided not to take Samsung’s proposed deal, and an Apple lawyer told the federal court in Sydney that Samaung’s latest offer wasn’t enough for Apple to reach a settlement on.
“The main reason we are here is to prevent the launch (of the Galaxy tablet) and maintain the status quo,” Apple lawyer Steven Burley told the court.
So it looks like the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 wont be going on sale in Australia anytime soon, until the two companies can come to some sort of agreement.
