Apple’s new mobile payment system Apple Pay already has support from major banks, credit card companies and also some major retailers.
Now it would appear that smaller independent retailers will also be able to support Apple Pay in the future as Square’s Jack Dorsey has confirmed that the company is working on bringing Apple Pay to Square.
In a recent interview with CNN, Jack Dorsey confirmed that the company is looking to support Apple Pay on their Square payments system, and that it should be available some time in 2015.
Square provides easy payments solutions for smaller retailers, that can use their iPhone and iPad to accept payments, and the addition of Apple pay would be good news for Apple, and also the retailers who use Square.
As yet Square have not given a specific date on when Apple Pay support will be added to their payments system, as soon as we get some more information, we will let you guys know.Filed Under: Apple, Technology News
