Apple’s iPhone SE is a very popular handset for the company, the device launched last year and now it looks like the handset will not get refreshed this year.
According to a recent report, Apple has no plans to launch a new iPhone SE this year, the company is concentrating on its new iPhone 8 and also two other handsets.
So it looks like we may have to wait until next year to see Apple update the iPhone SE, the company is likely to continue selling the handset as it is very popular.
Apple recently started manufacturing the handset in India, so it would be very unlikely for the device to be discontinued, we suspect we will see its replacement in 2018.
Apple are expected to launch three new iPhones this year, the iPhone 8 which will be a flagship device with high end specifications and two other handsets, the iPhone 7S and 7S Plus, all three devices will come with a new design over the existing models.
We are expecting Apple to launch their new iPhones some time in September, although recent rumors have suggested there could be a slight delay on the handsets and we may see them in October. As soon as we get some more information on exactly when Apple decides to update is iPhone SE, we will let you guys know.
