Apple has today rolled out a new version of their Apple Store application taking it to version 2.0 and bringing with it personal pickup and EasyPay features. The new EasyPay feature enables you to purchase smaller items in the Apple Store using the updated application by scanning the barcode and completing your transaction yourself, rather than having to deal with an Apple sales person.
The new Personal Pickup feature allows you to purchase a product from the Aple Store app and have it ready fro you to collect from an Apple store within around 12 minutes. Unfortunately the Personal Pickup feature is only currently available in the US at the moment.
You can now download the new Apple Store App from the iTunes App Store for free.
