The Apple iOS 9 update will be released later today, the software will be available for the iPhone, iPad and the iPod Touch.
The software update for iOS 9 will apparently need just 1.3GB of free space on your device for you to install the update, this is significantly less than the iOS 8 update.
When the iOS 8 update was released you needed to have a total of 4.58GB of free space on your iPhone or iPad to install the software, which was a lot of free space, especially if you had a 16GB iPhone.
Apple has obviously been working hard to make sure that the free space needed on the latest update is a lot less than previous years.
Joanna Stern from the Wall Street Journal has been testing out iOS 9 on a number of devices and has seen some battery life improvements in the latest iPhone software update, you can find out more details at the link below.
Apple iOS 9 will be available for the iPhone 4S and above, the iPad 2 and iPad Mini and above and the 5th generation iPod Touch.
We are expecting the update to be rolled out by Apple some time over the next few hours, as soon as we get some more details on when the update is availalable we will let you guys know.
