We have heard a number of rumors over the last week that Apple would be launching a new iPad with 128GB of built in storage, it is now official, as Apple have announced a 128GB iPad 4 with a Retina Display.
It looks like the rumors on the pricing of the 128GB iPad 4 were correct, the WiFi only 128GB iPad 4 will retail for $729 and the WiFi and Cellular iPad 4 with 128GB of built in storage will retail for $929.
Apple® today announced a 128GB* version of the fourth generation iPad® with Retina® display. The 128GB iPad with Wi-Fi and iPad with Wi-Fi + Cellular models provide twice the storage capacity of the 64GB models to hold even more valuable content including photos, documents, projects, presentations, books, movies, TV shows, music and apps.
Apple will start selling the 128GB version of the iPad 4 online and in their retail stores from next Tuesday the 5th of February, you can find out more information over at Apple.
