Anvil Electronic Technology has this month launched a new 3D printer Its team of developers have created, aptly named the Anvil. The Anvil has been designed to focus specifically on user experience and provides a number of features including high quality printing that help make the 3D printing process available to all whatever their knowledge of 3D printing may be.
Watch the video below to learn a little more about the Anvil’s features, design and functionality. The project as with many we feature here on Geeky Gadgets has taken to the Kickstarter crowdfunding website, to ask the community for help to raise $100,000 over the next 28 days.
With still 28 days remaining on its campaign thanks to over 150 backers the project has already raised over $38,000. Its developers explain a little more about the features and inspiration behind their new “user-friendly” 3D printer.
The Anvil Printer will bring your imagination to life in a way you never thought possible! The Anvil Printer is a 3D printing machine that makes the modeling and printing process easy for users, at an accessible price.
We set out to make our printer the most user-friendly machine on the market- every feature is designed with you in mind:
– Our printer uses auto-loading mechanics to feed filament diretly into the extruder, eliminating the need to manually insert the feedstock into the printer’s hotend
– Our app uses a lego-like modeling tool that makes it easy for you to create whatever design you have in mind
– You can use not only USB wire and Wifi to connect to your printer. Our cloud server (located in the U.S.) allows you to send print commands wherever you are, and it will start printing automatically as long as you’ve logged into the cloud account
– It’s even easy enough for a child to operate and won’t set back your family financially
