Earlier today we heard that the new Samsung Galaxy Note FE would be launching in South Korea next month, the handset is scheduled to go on sale on the 7th of July.
Now another version of the Samsung Galaxy Note FE has appeared at the FCC, previously three different versions of the handset received FCC approval.
The Samsung Galaxy Note FE is a refurbished version of the recalled Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and the handset has been modified to make it safe.
The original Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was recalled twice and then cancelled after the handset caught fire, Samsung discovered that the issue with the handsets was the batteries and has placed a smaller 3,200 mAh battery in the new Galaxy Note FE.
Samsung has also changed its testing programs for new device and puts them through a range of rigorous new tests to ensure the devices are safe, so there should not be any problems with the Galaxy Note FE.
The only other change with the Samsung Galaxy Note FE is that the handset will come with Samsung’s voice activated assistant, Bixby, which is only available on the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus at the moment.
