We have been hearing rumors for quite a while that the next major release of Android will be called Key Lime Pie, this is expected to be Android 5.0, and now it looks like a Google employee has all but confirmed this will be the name.
Manu Cornet, who works for Google posted a graphic online which is apparently the ‘evolution of Android’, and it shows each version of Android up to the current Jelly Bean, plus one more, which looks to be Key Lime Pie, have a look at the graphic below.
There are no details as yet on when Google are expected to release the next major version of Android, we suspect it will be some time next year, as soon as we get some more information we will let you guys know.
