HTC One users who upgraded to Android 4.4 KitKat in the UK were experiencing lots of trouble with the handset after updating to the latest Android version. But, HTC has been cooperative, and mentioned that they are aware of the problems faced by the users, and as a result, they have decided to pull the update until the problems are fixed.
Here’s the statement HTC gave to the folks at AndroidCentral
We are aware that a limited number of HTC users are experiencing difficulties with the KitKat update. As a result, all FOTA updates have been temporarily suspended. HTC is committed to providing customers with the best possible mobile experience and we are working hard to resolve the issue quickly.
There’s no word about the issues faced by users, but HTC UK has changed the status of the update for carriers and the unlocked model to integration, suggesting that it’s being tested again right now to clear out the bugs. If you’re a HTC One owner who upgraded to Android 4.4 KitKat, are you facing any problems?
