Amazon’s Appstore has been available in the US for a while now, and it looks like Amazon may be getting ready to launch their app store in Europe some time this summer.
According to a recent report by All Things D, Amazon will apparently announce next week that it will start accepting submissions for the European version of their app store from developers.
Of course there is no exact date on when Amazon will actually launch the Appstore in Europe, all we know so far is some time this summer, and that could also mean that Amazon will finally launch their Kindle Fire Android tablet in Europe at the same time.
The Kindle Fire tablet has been available in the US for quite a while, and we have yet to get any official word from Amazon when it will land in Europe, although launching it at the same time as the launch of the Amazon Appstore in Europe seems likely.
