Qualcomm Atheros has announced that Alienware laptops will be equipped with the new Killer Wireless-N 1202. The latest wireless cards created by Qualcomm Atheros, were launched without a signed laptop partner, but now Dell have seen the light and are going to add the Killer Wireless-N 1202 to their range of performance laptops.
The Killer Wireless-N 1202 has been equipped with a 2×2 MIMO Wi-Fi module with Bluetooth, to provide enhanced performance and advanced control by controlling and prioritising gaming, video and audio network data as required. Mike Cubbage, director of business development, networking business unit, Qualcomm Atheros explains:
