The news that Adobe Air would be coming to the Android platform in Q4 2010 was announced about a month ago and sure enough Adobe Air is now available in the Android Market.
This now allows developers to publish ActionScript 3 projects that can run as native applications on the Android platform. Because the source code and assets are reusable across the Flash Platform runtimes, Adobe AIR and Flash Player, it also gives developers a way to more easily target other mobile and desktop environments.
Adobe AIR, a key component of the Adobe Flash, that provides a consistent development environment for developers to create standalone applications outside the standard browser across multiple devices and platforms.
