This is good news! AT&T has announced that it will be getting a new tablet from HTC called the Jetstream that will work on LTE and HSPA+ 4G networks. This is the first 4G tablet to support both networks for AT&T. This is also the first tablet to run Android 3.2 Honeycomb.
The tablet has a 10.1-inch screen with WXGA resolution. It uses a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon processor and supports 1080p content. The Android OS has HTC Sense on top and the device will land September 4 in stores and online.
The tablet will sell for $699.99 with a 2-year agreement. The data plans will cost $14.99 monthly for 250MB or $25 monthly for 2GB on both postpaid and prepaid. The difference is that overages are more on the postpaid plan at $25 per 2GB over the allotment.
