The current iPhone X retails for $999, Apple is expected to launch three models of the iPhone X this year all with different price points. The three models will be made up of a cheaper iPhone with a 6.1 inch LCD display.
The other two models will include a 5.8 inch OLED iPhone and a 6.5 inch OLED iPhone, according to a recent report, these two handsets will retail for $899 for the 5.8 inch model and $999 for the 6.5 inch model.
This sounds about right as we heard that the cheaper LCD iPhone would retail for around $700 or $800, we suspect it will be priced at $799. We previously heard that this years models would be slightly cheaper than the current model, so the above prices sound about right.
The design of the iPhone X is not expected to change much this year, the handset will come with a new processor and possibly more RAM than the current models. The devices may get some new cameras and some other new features.
All three handsets are expected to come with Apple’s Face ID facial recognition, they will also come with the notch at the top of the display, previous rumors have suggested that Apple will get rid of the notch in 2019.
Apple’s new iPhones are expected to launch in September or October, last year they launched three models in a staged roll out in September and October. This year all three handsets are expected to be made available at the same time.
