Yesterday we saw a photo of the new Sony Honami smartphone, now we have some more photos which give us a better look at this new Android handset from Sony.
The photos below of the Sony Honami handset were posted online by Just Another Mobile Phone Blog. The handset is rumored to feature a 5 inch Full HD display with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution.

The display on the device will use Sony’s Triluminous technology and the handset will be powered by a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with a clock speed of 2.3GHz.
Advanced Specifications and Features
Other specifications on the Sony Honami will include 2GB of RAM, and a choice of storage in the form of 16GB, 32GB or 64GB. This range of storage options ensures that users can select a model that best fits their needs, whether they require ample space for apps, photos, and videos or prefer a more budget-friendly option. Additionally, the device will come with a 2,700 mAh battery, which should provide a decent amount of usage time, although heavy users might find themselves needing to recharge before the day is over.

One of the main features on the Honami will apparently be the device’s camera. The handset is rumored to feature a 20 megapixel camera, which is quite impressive for a smartphone. This high-resolution camera is expected to include advanced features such as superior auto mode, manual controls, and possibly even 4K video recording capabilities. This would make the Sony Honami a strong contender for photography enthusiasts who prefer to use their smartphone as their primary camera.
Software and Additional Features
The Sony Honami is expected to run on the latest version of Android, which would provide users with access to the latest features and security updates. Sony’s custom user interface will likely be layered on top of Android, offering unique features and enhancements that differentiate it from other Android devices. This could include Sony’s suite of multimedia apps, such as Walkman for music, Album for photos, and Movies for video playback.
In terms of connectivity, the Sony Honami is expected to support 4G LTE, ensuring fast internet speeds for browsing, streaming, and downloading. Other connectivity options will likely include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC, making it easy to connect to other devices and accessories.
We are expecting Sony to announce the Sony Honami at IFA in Berlin in September. This annual event is a major platform for tech companies to showcase their latest innovations, and the Honami is expected to be one of the highlights of Sony’s presentation. The anticipation surrounding this device is high, and it will be interesting to see how it compares to other flagship smartphones from competitors like Samsung, Apple, and HTC.
