Okay, so it doesn’t serve coffee out of thin air. Great idea, but that’s just not the case with the Scanomat Top Brewer, which has a faucet-like neck jutting from a counter surface. The magic happens underneath via a turbine system that preps the coffee for your empty cup. The best part is it can be controlled via your iPhone. It’s one more step closer to the singularity, people!
Nah, kidding about that singularity part.
After further reading on this innovative product, turns out Scanomat first outed it in public during a fair at Milano. The reaction it inspired was so overwhelming that the company is going all out to promote the barely-there Top coffee brewer. From its iPhone functionality to space-age operating speed–an espresso in under 30 seconds, the Scanomat Top coffee brewer is shaping up to be something big.
Scanomat’s latest, however, won’t be out soon and official retail info is unavailable at the moment.
