Apple iWatch Facing Manufacturing Challenges

We are expecting the Apple iWatch to launch some time this year, probably around the same time as the iPhone 6, which is expected to launch in September.

According to a recent report, Apple are having manufacturing challenges with their new Apple iWatch, and the company is apparently having issues with the iWatch display and also the battery.

We heard back in December, the the iWatch may come with a new curved touch screen,  the display was discovered in an Apple patent filing for a new curved touch sensor.

We also heard previously that the iWatch will be much more than just a communicator device for the iPhone or iPad, the device is also said to have a major focus on home automation.

Apple apparently has big plans for home automation in the future, and if the rumors are correct, the Apple iWatch will be used to control a number of things around the home.

Samsung and Sony has already launched their own smart watches, and a number of other manufacturers are also working on and releasing smart watches.

It will be interesting to see what the iWatch is like, and whether the device will be more than just a communicator devices for your smartphone or tablet.
