Xiaomi has received its fair share of success in India. The company entered the market with the Xiaomi Mi3 and offered it for an extremely attractive price. The company later launched the Redmi 1S and Redmi Note as well in the region, and ended up shipping over a million handsets in one of the biggest smartphone markets in the world.
Now, the company is planning to launch the Xiaomi Mi4 in India in the next few weeks. No exact date has been announced, but this should be good enough for those who are waiting for Xiaomi’s high-end device.
As a quick recap, Xiaomi Mi4 comes with an excellent set of specifications, flaunting a 5-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels with a 441 ppi pixel density. The processing power comes form a quad-core Snapdragon 801 chipset with Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 16/64GB of internal storage. Unfortunately, there’s no microSD card slot for expansion.
Other notable features include a 13MP camera for photos and videos, an 8MP front-facing camera, a 3,080 mAh battery and runs Android 4.4.3 KitKat with MIUI on top of it.
There’s no word about the pricing, but we’ll definitely let you know as soon as we hear anything.
