Vivo has launched a new Android smartphone, the Vivo X5 Max, and the handset is equipped with a 5.5 inch full HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The Vivo X5 Max is powered by an eight core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 64-bit mobile processor and the handset also features 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built in storage.
Other specifications on the new Vivo X5 Max include front and rear facing cameras, on the front of the handset there is a 5 megapixel camera, on the back there is a 13 megapixel Sony IMX214 camera with an LED flash.
The Vivo X5 Max comes with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 2.0 which is based on Google’s Android 4.4.4 KitKat, and the device measures just 4.75mm thick.
The new Vivo X5 Max will go on sale in China on the 22nd of December and it will retail for CNY 2,998, which is around $485 at the current exchange rate.
