Samsung Galaxy S4 has received the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat on all major US carriers, even the international version has received the latest update in a majority of regions.
However, Verizon has been lagging behind, and it’s nothing new. If you’re rocking a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4, you may want to check your device for an update as the Big Red is rolling out the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for the handset.
The latest update bumps the software version to I545VRUFNC5, and comes with a bunch of new features and improvements, including a few Verizon-specific apps, as well as the goodies that comes with Android 4.4.2.
The latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat give users the ability to select Hangouts as the default SMS app, as well as several other features such as cloud print support, some visual tweaks and UI changes, and much more.

You should get the update in the coming days as the process is gradual, but if you’re impatient, you can manually check for it from the Settings app.
