Verizon has just launched a home femtocell 3G Network Extender that allows home mobile-phone users to piggyback off of the home broadband connection.
The extender will allow up to six devices to connect to use the connection at any one time. Perfect if you only want to pay one 3G connection charge for all your household devices.
Esecially if you have some bad reception areas any where in your home. Just plug-in a Verizon 3G Network Extender to an ethernet port to boost your signal.
According to Verizon, users don’t have to adjust their plan to take advantage of the extender, which is about the size of a traditional router. But the users will be charged minutes for their calls, in accordance with their existing plan.
The new Verizon 3G Network Extender will be available to buy for $249.99
