Super Capacitor is a unique battery less vehicle jump starting system that has launched via Kickstarter this month and is capable of restarting your vehicle’s engine in just three minutes. Its creator explains more behind the inspiration behind the vehicle jump starter and its unique power system which requires no batteries. “The idea of the Super Capacitor Series was created because the company used to create products with lithium batteries. However, we realised that lithium batteries not only have short lifespans, they can also be inflammable and explosive. Due to these reasons, we’ve transformed our jump starters and created the Super Capacitors.”
“When the vehicle’s battery is under 8V (12V vehicle) and 16V (24V vehicle), the jumpstarter cannot jumpstart the vehicle as the voltage is too low and has inadequate energy to crank the vehicle back up. So in this case, it is required to charge the jump starter from another source before you can jumpstart the car. Vehicle’s battery life lasts only 3 years, so as your vehicle’s battery hits 2-3 years, there is a higher chance of the inability to start the engine of your vehicle or even jumpstart your vehicle. “
