Adafruit has announced the availability of a new 2.8 inch TFT display offering a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels and a capacitive touchscreen interface that can be used for a variety of different applications. Priced at $24.95 the small touchscreen LCD and offers a more advanced LCD and is driven with the ILI9341 chipset. Checkout all the new arrivals available from the Adafruit online store showcased in the video below.
“The touch chip is a FT6206 which communicates over I2C. This is just the display module! No PCB is included! You can talk to this chip with SPI (4 or 3 wire), 8 bit parallel, or 16 bit parallel. It also can be put into “dot clock mode” for raw TTL signal in but we have never done this ourselves so there’s no example code for that.”
