Geneinno has created a new underwater drone that is capable of diving to a depth of 150 m and is equipped with a 4K Ultra HD camera allowing owners to remotely explore the depths beneath the waves. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the Titan deep sea underwater drone which has this week taken to Kickstarter to raise the required $50,000 needed to take the drone into production.
Features of the Titan underwater drone include 1080p live video feed, colour correction dive filters, 3000 lumen lighting and of course its 4K camera which is capable of capturing eight megapixel photographs and offers a 160 degree wide angled view of the depths. “Most drones provide a fun way to you capture beautiful outdoor views and while hiking or traveling. But with an underwater drone, anyone can explore the unknown ocean depths! The functionality of a standard, airborne drone expands to meet challenging ocean currents with high performance motion technology. Whether you are scuba diver, underwater photographer, drone enthusiast, marine naturalist, educator or just want to have fun, Titan is your best choice.”
Titan also comes with its own companion smartphone application allowing you to control the drone and view live video feeds directly from your underwater camera. “Titan’s built-in camera features a 160° ultra-wide angle lens, creating cinematic 4K videos and spectacular 8MP photos in rich detail and colour.”
The Titan underwater drone is now available to back via Kickstarter with early bird pledges available from $1,200 with worldwide shipping expected to take place in a few months time during September 2018.
