You can throw a rock today and hit three different alarm clock docks online with the tons that are offered. Most all of them have the same basic features. However, some work a bit better than others. One of the more original of the alarm clock docks I have seen has surfaced today. The dock is called the TimeCommand.
The dock will dock and charge your iPod, iPhone, or iPad and has an adjustable connector that will work if you have your gadget in a case or not in a case. A free app can be downloaded to let you set multiple alarms. The device also uses Sonic iQ tech for optimum sound. The LCD on front is curved for more viewing angles and it looks cool too.
The most interesting feature is that you can plug in your bedside lamp and the TimeCommand will wake you to your alarm and to light from the lamp. The app can be dimmed and a timer can cut the lamp off when you go to bed. The gadget is at Apple Stores right now for $99.99 and will be offered online soon.
