The Dame pictured below is Jeri Ellsworth. In her hand is an X-ray scanner that incorporates parts of a satellite dish plus a few other bits of hardware. There’s been a load of TSA jabs that has stuck to this built like iron fillings to a magnet since news of Ms. Ellsworth’s build surfaced. It’s no surprise, since this gizmo allows the user to X-ray scan unsuspecting people for the vaguest reasons.
TSA jabs aside, Ms. Jeri Ellsworth has more than a few interesting builds to her credit. This latest is but further evidence of this lovely lass’ ingenuity. In her hand is an X-ray scanner packing multiple feed horns “borrowed” from satellite dishes. What this does is produce radar waves that can see through objects a centimeter deep. We’re not sure about the cancer risk or radiation levels though, but unless you lose hair and start puking a few days after using this, we think Ms. Ellsworth’s gadget is hella awesome.
Though it is super cool to have one of these handheld X-ray scanners in your possession, coming up with good reasons for using it is kinda hard. Better yet, don’t bother explaining why you own it to friends and family. It’s just fun.
