The new Evil Within game was expected to be officially released on October 21st, 2014. However this week Bethesda’s Pete Hines said the game will be ready ahead of schedule and will now be available to purchase in North America on October 14th and two days later on October 16th in Australia and October 18th throughout Europe.
The Evil Within is an upcoming survival horror video game developed by Tango Gameworks based in Japan and will be published by Bethesda Softworks.
“While investigating the scene of a gruesome mass murder, Detective Sebastian Castellanos and his partners encounter a mysterious and powerful force. After seeing the slaughter of fellow officers, Sebastian is ambushed and knocked unconscious. When he awakens, he finds himself in a deranged world where hideous creatures wander among the dead.
Facing unimaginable terror, and fighting for survival, Sebastian embarks on a frightening journey to unravel what’s behind this evil force.”
Once the official The Evil Within release date arrives it will be available on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and now gamers can look forward to playing the game a week earlier than expected Bethesda explains :
“We’re excited to share the news that The Evil Within will be releasing a week earlier than previously planned. We’re bringing survival-horror to you on October 14th in North America, October 16th in Australia, and October 18th throughout Europe.”
