Earlier this month, LG started rolling out the latest Android 7.0 Nougat update for the LG G5 in South Korea, but it seems the company is set to roll it out in more regions as well.
If you’re in possession of the LG G5 tied to T-Mobile in the United States, there’s some good news for you. The latest Android 7.0 Nougat update is now rolling out for the handset in the United States.
The update is sized at 1272.9MB and brings all the goodness of Android 7.0 Nougat as well as several performance improvements and security enhancements. The update is rolling out as we speak over-the-air and should reach all devices in the coming weeks.
Don’t panic if you don’t see the update right away, the update roll out process is gradual and is rolled out in phases. So you’ll get it in the coming weeks. Alternatively, you can check for the update manually by going to Settings and checking for it. Make sure you’re connected to a WiFi network before download, if you don’t want to choke out your data allowance.
Let us know if you’ve received the update on your LG G5, and the improvements you can notice.
