Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and US Cellular released the Android 4.3 update for the Samsung Galaxy S4, but the update was pulled by the folks at AT&T due to issues with it. The only major US carrier left to roll out the update was T-Mobile, but they’ve started rolling out the Android 4.3 update for Samsung Galaxy S4 via OTA and Kies, upgrading the build number to M919UVUEMK2.
The update will start rolling out staring today, and will roll out until February 1st. That’s a long time for the OTA to roll out, but if you’re impatient and can’t wait for the OTA to reach your device, T-Mobile suggests that you can update your Galaxy S4 manually via Kies as well. Just download the latest version of Kies and download the latest update. Sized at 781MB, the update brings the much awaited Galaxy Gear compatibility and Samsung KNOX along with all the Android 4.3 goodies. More details can be viewed at the T-Mobile support page.
Although you may want to wait for a little while before updating your Samsung Galaxy S4 to the latest Android 4.3 update. Since roll out, it brought more problems for the handset than the fixes, so it’s recommended to wait for a few days and see if the users who updated report any problems.
