Kickstarter is a good place for some strange products and gear to get the funding the people behind the designs need to bring the products to reality. Two of the latest products to hit Kickstarter are the Swarm Nectar and the Swarm Elixir. The two products are very similar.
Both are little clamps that are used to keep the seat on a bicycle in position while you ride. The difference between the two is that the Nectar uses a normal bolt and the Elixir has a quick release lever for adjustments without tools.
Both are made from CNC milled aluminum and anodized in five different colors. The key feature for both is that they have an integrated bottle opener. The products were looking for $2,500 in start up money and have exceeded that amount with five days to go.
