Sony previously said that their Project Morpheus VR headset would be launching next year and now the company has confirmed that it will launch in the first half of 2016.
Sony did not give any exact pricing on Project Morpheus, although they did hint at the price saying that it will cost ‘several hundred dollars’.
Project Morpheus features a 5.7 inch OLED display that will come with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and it also comes with a range of sensor which include an accelerometer and a gyroscope.
Sony has been developing the device over the last few years, it is designed to work with the company’s PlayStation 4 console and also their Dualshock 4 controller.
As soon as we get some more details on the exact release date of Sony’s new VR headset and also some information on pricing, we will let you guys know.
