Back in September, Sony launched the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, which is already available for sale in many regions.
Canadian customers interested in the tablet can now purchase the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact from the online Sony Store for $529.99. This is the WiFi only version of the tablet and is only available in white color at the moment.
Similar to most Xperia products, the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact is water-resistant up to a certain extent. The tablet rocks an 8-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 by 1200 pixels with a 283 ppi pixel density. The tablet is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 801 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, coupled with a microSD card support of up to 128GB should you ever require more storage.
The tablet also features an 8.1MP rear camera for photos and videos, a 2.2MP front-facing camera, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, a 4,500 mAh battery and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat as its operating system. The tablet is also expected to get the sweet taste of Android 5.0 Lollipop in the coming months.
